INDIANAPOLIS (May 22, 2018) — Levementum (“Lev”), a digital marketing, eCommerce and IoT consultancy with offices in Indianapolis, Arizona, California, Texas, and Michigan announced today that its Board of Directors appointed Michael Burton as Chief Executive Officer, effective June 1, 2018. Burton previously held the position as Senior Vice President.

“Over the past 12 years, we’ve grown Lev into a leading digital consultancy that develops technology solutions for some of the biggest consumer brands in the world,” said Lev’s co-founder and CEO Doug Guilbeau. “As Lev continues its rapid-growth strategy, there is no better person than Michael Burton to lead the company as we enter our next exciting chapter of growth and innovation. Michael brings to the role tremendous respect, talent and a deep understanding of our ecosystem.”

“I couldn’t be more proud to have been chosen to lead this company. The vision of our founders has catapulted Lev into one of the fastest-growing digital consultancies in the country,” Burton said. “The opportunity to lead our team and grow the Lev brand is both exciting and humbling. I’ve had the ultimate privilege of working and learning from some of the smartest and most creative minds in the industry.”

Burton joined Lev in March 2016 after serving as a Director of Services at Salesforce. Prior to working with Salesforce, Burton was a regional manager for ExactTarget, Vice President of Services for Courseload, Inc., and a Senior Project Manager for Interactive Intelligence, now Genesys. Burton also worked with Baker Hill for over eight years earlier in his career, as well as Compendium Blogware.

Burton earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Indiana University and has been a part of the growing Indianapolis technology community for nearly two decades. Active in the tech community, Burton is also an emeritus board member with the TechPoint Foundation for Youth.

Guilbeau and fellow co-founder Geoffrey Mobisson started Lev in 2006 with the goal of helping companies become more efficient, profitable and successful in the constantly evolving, technology-fueled business world. The company has since grown to more than 100 employees across five states. In 2017, the duo started a venture capital firm, E&I Ventures, which is focused on helping tech-based companies – like Lev – commercialize their ideas and grow across the Southwest. The company will have a big presence in the fast-growing blockchain space.

Lev also announced that Guilbeau will assume a larger role on the Board of Directors as technical and market strategy adviser.

In April 2018, Lev announced it had successfully raised $4 million in additional funding led by Inoca Capital Partners, a private equity firm. Earlier in 2017, Lev also announced plans to add up to 175 jobs in its Indianapolis office by 2021. The firm was also honored in February 2018 as one of Consulting Magazine’s 2018 Seven Small Jewels.

Lev attracts and retains business-to-consumer (B2C) clients across various industries including health and life sciences, entertainment, retail, financial services and hospitality.
